The main contract works consist of the refurbishment of the existing car showroom, workshops and parts department for Lloyd Motor Group, Pinnaclehill, Kelso.

Works comprised of a full strip out before repairs to the existing structure, re lining the existing roof and applying decorative rainscreen cladding to the external walls. Externally, all areas have been extended and upgraded with new blockpaving, tarmac and resin bound surfacing.

Internally, the area has been completely renewed to a very high specification of finish to offices and showroom areas with extensive glass partitioning and ceramic floor tiling. A full design and build mechanical, electrical and IT package was incorporated into the project bringing state of the art lighting, power and networking solutions.

Back of house works include the extension and refurbishment of the Workshop to double the number of work bays, a new mezzanine floor providing parts storage, employee welfare and internal valet bays.

The showroom refurbishment is the final part of a number of improvements we have carried to the Kelso campus for Lloyd Motor Group carried out over a period of 15 months with a construction spend of over £3.1m. These include the formation of a bodyshop, construction of a new car holding / compound area and a new washbay to the rear of the new showroom.
