North Broomlands

Although it has just over 6000 residents, Kelso is a very lively town. The vibrant centre of the attractive market town has a good variety of shops and is within ten minutes walking distance of North Broomlands. Broomlands Primary School and playing fields are right next to the site, and the reputable Kelso High School, is only a ten minute walk away.

Nearby, both Shedden and Woodside are large public parks which offer a variety of activities for children and adults, including football, hockey, cricket, skateboarding, putting and children’s playing areas. The local Golf Course and Ice Rink are just around the corner from North Broomlands whilst one of Kelso's supermarkets is convieniently situated nearby.

A few minutes from the site sees the start of some beautiful, peaceful riverside walks which take in both the town’s landmark bridges, the Mayfield Garden Centre and Kelso Abbey.
